For the arguing at the beginning of the video we will
be recording this in the sound booth at school as it will be more of pure sound
than if we were to take the sound straight from the camera.

Filming: Day 2 (28th Feb)
Filming: Update
Unfortunately due to scheduling differences we have had
to change our actress. Days where we were available to film Lateshia had other
commits making it nearly impossible to find time to film the rest of our music
video.
Our new actress is Sky, a member of the group. This
makes it so much easier when trying to arrange filming days as we all have the
same free lessons. However we had already started filming; the footage from
this is useless as it features Lateshia. We have had to start the process
again. This mishap has put us behind schedule but now we have to available
filming slots I’m sure we’ll get back on track.
As well as starting to film we begun to create our
digipak, this too will have to be adapted. Luckily we won’t have to change much
as the concept is the same; just the images will have to be replaced with our
new actress – Sky.

Digipak: Design
We've begun to create our digipak and this is what we
have so far:
We’ve conducted research into other digipaks from indie
bands. Above you can see the basic layout of digipak; it will have sides along
with a spine. We’re planning to create a front cover, two image pages, lyric
page (Alone In This), track list, and a CD holder.
The colour scheme we have chosen is grey as it ties in
with the duller colours the band has used on previous CD covers. The font will
be white to stand out against the grey scheme; the audience will be able to
read the lyrics clearly.
The images will be of the character from the music
video. You can see so far we’ve picked an image of Lateshia (our actress)
laying down on the bed. She looks deep in thought, by choosing the close-up
image of her on her own it will highlight the song title ‘Alone In This’. The
imagery from the digipak advertises the music video as the pictures are
directly taken from it.
We still have a lot of work to do on a digipak to get
it to the standard we’d like however we haven’t completed filming yet therefore
we have no further images to use at this stage.
The front of the digipak will be hand drawn to reflect the bands image and stay consistent with their previous work, which can be seen below.
