Choosing the font

This font is called Lithos. We like how this font is simple and is all in uppercase; along with the colour being white against a black background it will standout at the beginning of the video. The font ties in with the genre of the music video – indie – as it’s similar to those used on previous album art.

This font is called Orator. It looks similar to font of a typewriter, which are quite popular at the moment. Like the previous font it’s quite basic but we believe a basic font will be most effective for our music video. The typewriter look ties in with the story of our video, our character is documenting her life through a camcorder (handheld) a bit like how someone can document their life through writing on a typewriter.

This font is called Nueva. Again it’s very small and basic, which is also uppercase. This is a cool font style for us to use because it is very basic but has a unique twist on it which is what we are showing our main character as, a basic family living in poor conditions, but a unique twist of hope.
